On Sunday, Jan. 14, singer-songwriter Kate Voegele will take the stage at the White Rabbit Cabaret in Indianapolis. She’ll be joined by two other successful singer-songwriters – – Tyler Hilton and Leslie DiNicola. Read on to find out more about these three unique talents.
Since making her music debut back in 2003, an EP titled “The Other Side,” Kate Voegele has seen a high level of success in the industry. Signed by Interscope in 2006, Voegele released her debut studio album “Don’t Look Away,” which charted on the Billboard 200. During her early years in the industry, Voegele played alongside some of the world’s biggest artists including John Mayer, Counting Crows, and Willie Nelson.
Voegele released four studio albums, including her most recent “Canyonlands,” which was released on her own label Communikate, Inc. on Oct. 28, 2016. While it didn’t see the level of commercial success that her first three albums did — Canyonlands didn’t chart in the U.S. or Canada, it will still an album full of catchy tunes featuring her memorable lyrics.
On December 8, 2018, Voegele released a brand new single, “Shoot This Arrow,” which tackles the major issue of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry. It’s a strong song with a timely and clear message.
You can check out her single, her albums, and learn more about Voegele on her official website.
Depending on who you are, you might recognize Tyler Hilton for his acting career, not his music career. As a fan favorite character on the acclaimed teen drama “One Tree Hill,” Hilton made a name for himself as the character Chris Keller. Based on his successful stint on the show, Hilton got a high-profile gig in 2005’s “Walk the Line” as a young Elvis Presley.
Once bitten by the music bug, Hilton has worked a lot less in front of the camera, focusing his attention on writing and recording albums. He has released six studio albums and two EPs dating back to 2000, including his sophomore effort “The Tracks Of,” which reached No.15 on the U.S. Heatseekers Albums chart.

Leslie DiNicola has been described as “combining the grittiness of Janis Joplin with the vulnerability of Alison Krauss.” These words are found on her website and many other places around the Internet. This sentiment is strong, yet correct. The words describe a singer-songwriter who is poised for a long, successful career in the mainstream.
On her fifth EP, “Love + Destruction,” which was released in December 2016, DiNicola offers insight into her most vulnerable points. Her voice and lyrics are unmatched by many and a chance to see her perform live shouldn’t be missed.

The doors for White Rabbit Cabaret open at 7:00 pm and the concert starts at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $20.
